== Early life ==
Born and raised first 16 years in Vietnam, Pauline Chan was sent during Vietnam War to Hong Kong. She is of Chinese descent and went in Hong Kong to High school, enrolled in Drama school and worked as an actress. Later she went to the United States and studied Filming at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1980 Pauline Chan moved to Australia and lived in Sydney.〔http://www.austlit.edu.au/run?ex=ShowAgent&agentId=A0Qr〕
